About Me / The Coach

I’ve earned this. I’ve lived it. And I teach from a place of mastery—not theory.

My name is Charles Lockard, and I’ve spent nearly five decades using my own body to test, refine, and prove what works. I’ve trained across nearly every domain – powerlifting, physique development, boxing, grappling, martial arts, obstacle course racing – and I’ve done it using progressive resistance principles long before they were trendy. I’ve rehabbed my own injuries, learned how to train around pain, and pushed for consistent performance deep into my 60s. My approach blends science with lived experience. I don’t just coach movement – I understand it from the inside out.

Every program is built from the ground up for the person in front of me — no cookie-cutter workouts, no overcrowded classes. Whether your goal is to lose weight, improve mobility, or boost performance, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you to where you want to be.
